American Girls

Yesterday, Grandma decided to take the girls to the American Girl store.  Jeffrey and Daniel took Brady to the children's museum with a family friend (who has 2 boys close to Brady's age).  Before we parted ways, I wanted to get a picture of the 3 kiddos.

Tricia loved the American Girl store.  I've never seen her so excited about something... ever.  She fell in love with the first doll she saw.  I feel like I had to force her to look at all the dolls before deciding.  She ended up loving Ann's favorite, Caroline from 1812.  Grandma bought her the doll and a lot of precious little outfits.  Grandma also spoiled Anna Belle with a new outfit for her baby.

The American Girl Restaurant filled up quickly, so we went to Cheesecake Factory.  They have little high chairs for the American Girl dolls to sit at the dinner table.  There was a 30 minute wait, so we changed the doll's clothes and took a few pictures.

Anna Belle's baby models the American Girl, table mounted high chair.
Afterwards, we met with a seamstress.  Patricia and Ann wanted to get a veil made for Ann's wedding, May 18th.  Patricia bought me a dress to wear for the wedding, but it needed some alterations.  Tricia patiently waited with her doll.  Anna Belle had a napless giggling fit.  When she gets really tired, she starts to laugh (or cry) at everything hysterically.  In the photo below, Anna Belle's playing peek-a-boo with the dressing room curtain.
Arlene, our seamstress, made little tulle skirts for the girls.  Tricia loved it, and Anna Belle's giggling fit turned into a crying fit when we tried to put it on her.
