Pigtails and the Curb View

I recently started using rubber bands in Anna Belle's hair.  This is my first time to use them in pigtails.  As soon as I was done, Brady said, "Anna Belle, you look very beautiful."  What a sweetie...

I don't really understand my own fascination with taking pictures of the front of the house every year, but alas, I still enjoy it.  In this post, I compared 2011 and 2012.  In that year, we added a plant and wall hanging to the front door area, installed a shutter inside the large dining room window and our vines really took off.  This year's primary improvements include installing the second garage door opener (which Taylor did by himself) and heavily trimming the oak tree (which Taylor also did by himself).
Maybe the beautiful roses coming into bloom this time of year leads me to pull out my camera.  We also pulled out the sago palm on the right side of the driveway and planted a lemon tree.  This photo makes it quite clear that we need to power wash the driveway...  it's always something...

HEB

Maybe gymnastics and grocery shopping in the same morning is a little too much activity for my baby girl.  I think she's having allergy problems (mostly sneezing, coughing and general sleepiness).  Considering the timing, maybe it's oak pollen?

Tux

On Saturday, we went to Men's Wearhouse to order Brady's tux for the wedding.  Since it's a late wedding, I'm not confident that the kids will be awake and cheerful enough for family pictures after the ceremony.  We decided to let the kids take pictures with Ann during her bridal portraits.  Having the tux for 2.5 weeks would have been $394!  If we picked up and dropped off twice, it would be $300.  The lady at the store recommended we find a tux online, and they're all under $100 to purchase.  I'm still glad we went to Men's Wearhouse because they measured Brady and we got to see all the details, so we knew exactly what to order.

Bathing Beauty

When Anna Belle woke up from her nap, she called for me.  She normally wakes up, and walks downstairs or in the play room herself.  I ran up the stairs and found that she couldn't walk.  During her nap, she had removed her diaper and had both legs inside of one panty hole and one shorts hole, like really tight mini skirts with tails in the back (the unused leg openings).

Maybe this is one of those signs that I should be potty training her more diligently.

We took these photos during our Sunday afternoon swim.  Look at this pose!

Lamborghini

After church, we wanted to stop by Anthropologie.  Some of Ann's dishes are soon to be discontinued, so we wanted to stock up sooner than later (they're already gone online).  We ended up going to City Centre during this Lamborghini show.  We got a good table outside at Ruggles Green, with a nice view of the cars.  What a fun and unexpected addition to our day?!

Chuck E Cheese

After the tee ball game, we went to a birthday party for Ryan, a friend from church.  I really wish I had gotten a picture of all the church boys together (including Dean and his favorite cousin Luke), but alas I was tired and distracted.

Anna Belle had her first real trip to Chuck E Cheese; click here for a link to Brady's first trip to Chuck E Cheese.  I think it's evident that I'm far less patient with snapping photos than I used to be.
